How does the process work?
First, we'll discuss your project goals during your complementary consultation. Next we'll create an organizing solution customized for your space, budget and lifestyle. Then, we'll edit what you don't need or want with your guidance. We'll sort what you're keeping, and then organize and style your space. Along the way, we'll offer tips to help you stay beautifully organized.
Will I have to get rid of everything?
The goal is to keep what you need, want and enjoy. We'll provide suggestions on what do with things that don't fit those categories, and even remove a carload of donations at the end of our session and send you a tax receipt. However, the decision on what to keep or part with is entirely yours.
Will I need to buy storage supplies?
We can use what you have or we will recommend and shop for additional supplies if needed. After thousands of hours organizing, we know the best products and will create a custom solution based on your space, budget and design style. We'll even return anything we don't use so you don't have to.
Is this confidential?
Absolutely! Organizing can be a highly personal process, and your trust is always our priority. I guarantee this is in writing in our service agreement, which is signed before we get started. This way, you'll know what to expect and how we'll work together to create your organizing experience.
How involved will I need to be in this process?
While you'll need to help identify what to get rid of, you can be as involved or as hands-off as you like. In fact, many clients prefer to leave the room while we're organizing to enjoy the surprise of the big reveal when walking in to their newly organized space for the first time!

Absolutely! We take the stress out of moving by doing all things most people dread. Pre-move, we declutter, organize and style your house to get ready for sale. In you new home, we get you settled in quickly by unpacking and organizing every room right from the start. We bring all the organizing supplies you need to make the most of your new home as soon as you move in. It takes the average American 182 days to unpack the last box...we do it all so your can enjoy your dream home from the very beginning.
Do you have a team of organizers?
Yes! We'll select the right number of organizers for your project based on the amount of space you have and your project scope. For most projects, this means at least two organizers. The more organizers who work on your project, the faster we can organize your space and you can start enjoying it.
My space is a disaster. I think you'll run away when you see it!
If your space was perfect, you wouldn't need an organizer! We've seen many types of organizing situations. Often times, a major life event such as downsizing, health issues, moving, job changes, combining households, childbirth or home repairs create a living environment that is less than desirable. No matter what season of life you're in, we can organize so you regain control of your environment, giving you more time to enjoy your life and the people in it. What areas do you service?
Basket & Bin is based in Cypress, TX and serves the greater Houston area and beyond including The Woodlands, Bryan/College Station, Brenham and surrounding areas. Travel services are available across all 50 states for an additional fee. Contact me for details.
