How does the process work?

First, we'll discuss your project goals during your complementary consultation. Next I'll create an organizing solution customized for your space, budget and lifestyle. With your guidance, we'll purge what you don't need or want. We'll sort what you're keeping, and then organize and style your space. Along the way, we'll offer tips to help you stay beautifully organized!

Will I have to get rid of everything?

The goal is to keep what you need, want and enjoy. I'll provide suggestions on what do with things that don't fit those categories, and even remove a carload of donations at the end of our session and send you a tax receipt. However, the decision on what to keep or part with is entirely yours.

Will I need to buy storage supplies?

We can use what you have or I will shop for additional supplies based on your space, budget, and decorating style. I'll even return anything we don't need so you don't have to! If you decide to add new supplies, I recommend doing that after decluttering. Once we know what you're keeping, we can determine the best way to store it.

Is this confidential?

Absolutely! Organizing can be a highly personal process, and your trust is always my priority. I guarantee this is in writing in our service agreement, which is signed before we get started. This way, you'll know what to expect and how we'll work together to create your organizing experience.

How involved will I need to be in this process?

While you'll need to help identify what to get rid of, you can be as involved or as hands-off as you like. In fact, many clients prefer to leave the room while we're organizing to enjoy the surprise of the big reveal when walking in to their newly organized space for the first time!

Will you help me handle things I no longer want?

I'm happy to provide resource ideas that you may find useful for selling, donating or discarding items. At the end of each session, I will take a carload of any donations with me and provide a tax receipt for deductions upon request.

Can you help me with locate other service providers for additional improvements?

Yes...I can assist with referrals and scheduling from a network of professionals who I have worked with personally or have referred to other clients.

My space is a disaster. I think you'll run away when you see it!

If your space was perfect, you wouldn't need an organizer! We've seen many types of organizing situations.
